Hello
My name is Jonathan Copenhaver and I am a photographer from Manassas, Va. What started as a weekend hobby is growing into a small business. Whenever I am able to travel, my camera is usually right beside me which lead to the creation of my print shop. All of these images are taken by me in places I have been lucky enough to travel to. While travel and landscapes are still what I photograph the most, I have started to be aquired for more personal photography shoots. These included engagements, weddings, events, etc. Below is a small sample of some of my travel and landscape photography as well as recent photography shoots. Gear
For those that are interested, I am a Canon shooter. All the images here have been taken with my Canon 6D. I have a few lenses that I rotate through. My zoom lenses are a Canon 17-40 F4, a Canon 24-70 F2.8, a Tamron 28-300 F3.5-6.3 and a Tamron 70-200 F2.8. I also have a Sigma 35 F1.4 prime lens and a Canon 50 F1.8 lens. The Sigma has quickly become one of, if not my favorite lens. All of the street photography and even some of the Scottish landscapes in my collection were taken with this lens. I carry all of this around in a small USA Gear backpack I found a few years ago. It can comfortably fit my camera with lens and 4 extras, if I didn't have one pocket tied up with filters.
